Boat Registration Letters

Boat Registration Letters are sold by the pair, because you will need one for each side of your boat. Our pricing is for the pair, one set of two.

We sell Boat Registration Letters in any size you want but usually as 2” letters, 3” letters and 4” letters. Most states want 3” lettering. But check your state regulations so you order the correct size. For custom sizes just ask us for a quote.

Boat Registration Letters can come as:

A single color
Or as two colors, a single color with an outline or a single color with a drop shadow.
Or as three colors, a single color with an outline and a drop shadow.

Hailing Port Names

Hailing Port Names do not come as a set. They go on the stern of the boat so you will just need one. Sometimes it is the single name of the port and sometimes it is the port name with the state name abbreviated.

We sell Hailing Port Names in any size you want. Most states want 3” lettering. But check your state regulations so you order the correct size. Documented Ships have strict regulations.

Hailing Port Names can come as:

A single color
Or as two colors, a single color with an outline or a single color with a drop shadow.
Or as three colors, a single color with an outline and a drop shadow.

Boat Names

Boat Names do not come as a set. Please indicate if you want to order one (for your stern) or two (for your boat sides). Boat letters can be any size that you want to fit your boat.

If you are unsure what size Boat Lettering you need for your boat you can use this as a guideline:

10’ to 20’ Boat…2” to 5” Letters
21’ to 30’ Boat…4” to 10” Letters
31’ to 40’ Boat…9” to 13” Letters

This is only a guide. Remember the bigger your letters the easier they will be seen on the water. Viewing distances on the water are greater than other places. Shorter Boat Names will usually need taller letters than Longer Boat Names.

Once I have received your request for Boat Registration Letters, Hailing Port Name or Boat Name Lettering:

I will send you a proof of your lettering with a price quote.
Once you approve the lettering you may order by making a deposit of 50% of the order. We take cash, checks or credit cards (MC, Visa, AmEx) by phone. All shipping orders must be paid by credit card.
